About Grace Filled Homes

A brand-new Missouri nonprofit built on one conviction: every child deserves the fullness of childhood.

Our mission

Why we exist

Grace Filled Homes exists to ensure that foster children experience the fullness of childhood. Founded on the belief that every child is made in the image of God, we partner with foster families to remove the barriers — financial, practical, and emotional — so they can focus on what matters most: loving the children in their care.

Our model

Inspired by Angels’ Arms

We’re building on a model proven by Angels’ Arms in St. Louis. Their approach — providing stable homes for foster families, keeping siblings together, and surrounding those families with practical support — has kept more than 250 sibling groups together over 25 years, according to Angels’ Arms.

Grace Filled Homes exists to bring that same kind of care to foster families here in the Springfield, Missouri area — not by asking families to do more alone, but by surrounding them with the homes, resources, and community they need to say yes to the children who need them.

Where we are today

Grace Filled Homes is incorporated in Missouri and recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt public charity (EIN 41-4850423). We’re in our earliest days — building our board, forming partnerships, and laying the groundwork to serve foster families well.
